IXS Venture 1.0 MIPS, flip up helmet

The Venture 1.0 MIPS flip-up helmet stands for first-class, lightweight protection with excellent ventilation and a functional, adventure-ready design.

The Venture 1.0 helmet was developed in collaboration with motorcyclist and iXS brand ambassador Erik Peters. Peters tested the helmet for over 18 months in various countries, including Norway and Vietnam, as well as on a trip from Germany to Cape Town.

A special feature of the helmet is the flip-up chin section, which provides better ventilation in hot weather and keeps the motorcyclist's face free when needed. This is especially useful when passing market stalls or border crossings.

Ventilation and comfort

The helmet is ventilated via large front and chin vents, as well as ventilation channels integrated into the EPS. An aerodynamic spoiler at the back ensures effective air extraction. The moisture-regulating and antibacterial soft-touch lining provides additional comfort and hygiene.

Safety of the iXS Venture 1.0 helmet

The Venture 1.0 helmet consists of a multi-layer matrix shell with reinforced areas made of aramid and carbon fibers. An impact-absorbing multi-density EPS impact foam provides additional protection in the event of an impact.

Mips® INTEGRA TX System

The Mips Integra TX system adds an integrated low-friction shell to the classic fabric and foam inner padding. The system allows movement and can thus help to reduce rotational motion in the head in certain cases of angled impact, without compromising comfort and fit or adding weight to the helmet.

Mips Integra TX is suitable for motorcycle, equestrian and winter sports helmets where comfort is a priority. The system is integrated into the inner padding and attached to the helmet with hook and loop or existing attachment points on the inside of the helmet.
