Macna Air Hybrid 2.0 Night Eye, textile jacket waterproof

The ultimate 3-layer jacket, fully loaded with differentiators such as the unique Summer Comfort System Pro™, meant for adventurers and tourers that want to brave all riding conditions.

The Air Hybrid 2.0 consists of detachable layers that are attached to the outer shell by Macna's in-house developed Easy Cuff™. This system makes use of zips instead of loops and snaps, which prevents loose, floating layers inside your jacket.

Ventilation is present in abundance on all sides, most notably in the form of the improved Summer Comfort System Pro™ (a detachable panel at the center front, which turns the jacket into a semi-mesh one after being detached) and our new Quick Vent™ system.

Another differentiator in the outer shell is fabric covered with microscopic dishes that reflect light back to its source. Night Eye™ makes you better visible when it really matters, without making you look like a road worker or traffic sign.

The loops you do find in this jacket are part of the Electric Power Guide™, or EPG for short. This differentiator lets you comfortably run cables through the inside of your jacket when powering heated garments such as gloves.

Macna also opted for a retractable cuff that adjusts itself to the length of the wearer’s arm (Dyna Cuff™), a Coat Hanger™ that’s developed to carry the weight of a motorcycle jacket, and an 8V long connection zip to connect the jacket to your pants.

The Quixnap lets you close the snap with nothing more than two fingers, and the Quick Access Puller™ provides easy access to the inner chest pocket.

Macna's RISC™ Level 1 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows. RISC™ back and chest protectors are separately available and can be placed in the designated compartment with ease. Be sure to check the size table before purchasing a back protector.

If all of this isn’t enough, this jacket is also prepared for additional differentiators. At the upper back, you’ll find a pocket for Macna's Vision 2C LED light. The chest features two buckles to which Macna's Vision Tech vest can be attached. The vest will stay in place when putting on or taking off the jacket.

Last but not least, this jacket is prepared for Thermax™: a jacket that can be heated electrically. Take out the thermal liner, replace it with a Thermax™ jacket, and you’re even better equipped to brave the cold.

Night Eye™

Dark grey by day, luminous at night! The fabric is coated with lots of tiny dishes that reflect light back to its source - in your case, the traffic around you.

Fybrex

Polyester 500D fabric with high density that is durable, strong and abrasion-resistant.

Dynamic Stretch

Strong and durable double-weave fabric with Aramid yarns. The fabric has 4-way stretch for ease, comfort and a good fit. The fabric is coated, which makes it windproof and water-resistant.

Calorite

An abrasion-resistant fabric that is sometimes used as reinforcement in critical areas such as the shoulders, elbows, or knees.

3D Mesh

3D mesh offers a perfect combination of cushioning and good ventilation thanks to its open structure, through which air can circulate very well.

Raintex ML

The latest addition to Macna’s waterproof membrane collection is Raintex ML, which prevents rainwater from penetrating whilst enabling vapor drops to make their way through. These membranes keep you free from both sweat and rainwater, and are more comfortable than a regular Raintex membrane.

ML stands for ‘mesh laminated’, which means the waterproof membrane is laminated directly against a layer of fine mesh fabric. This fabric is comfortable on the skin as it doesn’t get sticky when riding with a t-shirt underneath, opposed to traditional membrane variants.

These membranes are incorporated into Macna’s waterproof garments in different ways. Some feature a fixed membrane and others are fitted with a detachable one. There are also jackets with a waterproof liner, which means the waterproof membrane and thermal liner are combined to create a single layer.

Easy Cuff™

Loops and snaps that are supposed to neatly connect the separate layers of a jacket or pants. We all know how well that works; it doesn’t. Chances of your watch or foot getting stuck are ten times higher than of you actually putting on the garment without issues.

Make this issue a complaint of the past with Macna’s Easy Cuff™, a zip construction at the cuff that keeps the layers fixed and ensures a nice and tidy sleeve. The zip is located at the outside of the cuff, making it easily accessible when needed.

Quick Access Puller™

The inner pocket of your motorcycle jacket usually holds important objects, such as your wallet or mobile phone. They’re secured safely by the most isolated pocket in your jacket, though they’re also not quickly accessible.

Enter Macna’s Quick Access Puller™: an extended cord that’s attached to the bottom and the runner of the zip. This enables you to open the inner pocket swiftly and gain access to its contents, without having to fumble for the runner when you’re wearing gloves.

Dyna Cuff™

Chances are likely that your arms are shorter or longer than others. Truth is, no two bodies are the same. For some riders, finding a suitable jacket is an event they can hardly look forward to. Most jackets are either too long or too short, or they fit well but the sleeves are simply too long.

Dyna Cuff™ is a softer, more dynamic cuff that enables the sleeve to retract and adjust itself to the length of the wearer's arm. This solution is particularly great for riders who have short arms in relation to their bodies.

Card Pocket

You finally have the weekend off and time to ride. Your motorcycle gear is ready to be jumped into, and shortly after you’re cruising the roads in total freedom. Unfortunately, your happiness only last for a short while as the first toll booth already appears in sight.

To minimize your time lost at mandatory stops such as toll booths, Macna fitted a Card Pocket at the outside of the left lower arm. You can use this pocket to store an access card or other means of identification or payment.

Electric Power Guide™

EPG allows you to run power cables trough the inside of your jacket, offering you full movement and no bulk at the wrists. EPG prepared jackets feature loops to easily guide the power cable through the sleeves. With many battery options to choose from, there’s a solution for everybody.

Coat Hanger™

A motorcycle jacket often weighs (a lot) more than a regular jacket. You might notice it when wearing one, and maybe even more when taking it off and carrying it by the ‘coat hanger’ at the neck – which is often just a textile loop that eventually snaps due to the weight of your motorcycle jacket.

Macna’s Coat Hanger™ is specifically designed to carry the weight of your motorcycle jacket. This strong and durable handle is found at the neck, though they chose to place it on the outside to enable the jacket to dry and air better when stored on, for example, a coat rack.

Back Pocket

Detachable layers are great for the versatility of a motorcycle jacket. Detach or add a layer when the temperature shifts and you’re ready to continue your journey with as much comfort as before. But where do you store these layers?

That’s where the Back Pocket comes in. This large zip pocket at the lower back is large enough to store detached layers. Other accessories you can’t find a place for can also be stored, as the pocket is fully waterproof.

Vision 2C LED light prepared

Visibility boost in the form of a secondary tail light, fixed high upon your back.

Thermax Jacket

Electrically heated jacket on the inside of your motorcycle jacket. Power this heated inner jacket through a battery or a direct connection to your motorcycle. Can also be connected to Macna’s other e-heated gear.

R.I.S.C.™ Protectors

A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.

R.I.S.C.™ Back Protector

You won’t find chest and back protectors in Macna’s garments – with exception of protective jackets such as the Korus and Whizzar – but they are separately available should you fancy extra protection. Make sure to check out the size table if you’re thinking about purchasing a Level 2 back protector.

R.I.S.C.™ Chest Protector

This unique protector is only available in Level 1 and consists of two separate pieces that automatically interlock after placing them in the designated compartments of your Macna jacket and zipping up.
