Macna Corvit, textile jacket waterproof

The optimal configuration with two separately wearable jackets – one of which can be converted into a backpack – developed for riders who want to brave all conditions.

The Corvit consists of a directly laminated waterproof shell and a breathable mesh core. Both jackets fit into each other and can be worn simultaneously, but also separately as stand-alone garment. Macna calls this construction Twin Shell™.

This construction provides both optimal waterproofness and high-level ventilation. Optimal waterproofness is provided by the outer shell that’s equipped with a directly laminated waterproof membrane. The DL shell doesn’t soak up water, which keeps it lightweight and makes it dry faster. Its core jacket is made of mesh and your best bet in hot conditions.

The Corvit jacket is incomparable thanks to its patented Confold™ construction. Its back panel features a long vertical zip. By flipping the jacket through this opening and zipping it up again, shoulder straps come out and it can be worn as a backpack.

All protectors can remain in the jacket, and there’s enough space for some extra stuff. Attach your helmet to the Helmet Loop™ inside the backpack, toss in your gloves, and enjoy a complete hands-free experience off-bike.

In addition, the Confold™ construction features unlined chest panels opposed to other mesh jackets. This makes the jacket even lighter, and it provides increased ventilation when riding.

If you’re wearing the directly laminated outer shell and need ventilation; attach the main zip to the second zip possibility and a strip of mesh fabric will be revealed along the main zip. Macna calls this the Summer Comfort System™.

The outer shell is also equipped with a Storm Hood in case the weather shifts the other way. This differentiator can be deployed when needed and is worn underneath the helmet to prevent water from entering your jacket at the collar.

Macna's RISC™ Level 1 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows and can be accessed easily via the Quick Pockets™. A RISC™ back protector is separately available and can easily be placed in the designated compartment. Be sure to check the size table before purchasing one.

Repelex DL

3-layer shell fabric with membrane and smooth surface. The fabric is waterproof, windproof, breathable, strong and lightweight.

3D Mesh

3D mesh offers a perfect combination of cushioning and good ventilation thanks to its open structure through which air can circulate very well.

Micro Mesh

Strong polyester mesh with a fine knitted structure which provides ventilation and gives an unique appearance.

Dynamic Stretch

Strong and durable double-weave fabric with Aramid yarns. The fabric has 4-way stretch for ease, comfort and a good fit. The fabric is coated, which makes it windproof and water-resistant.

Foamesh

Strong polyester mesh with a fine knitted structure, laminated against foam for increased comfort, ventilation, and a unique appearance.

Fybrex

Polyester 500D fabric with high density that is durable, strong and abrasion-resistant.

Ventilation Zips & Panels

By now, ventilation zips have become a relatively standard feature in motorcycle clothing – the same goes for panels. To keep differentiating ourselves from others, Macna is always actively searching for the most ideal places to incorporate them into their garments.

Air zips & panels can be found at the chest, upper legs, and at the arms. Indeed: there where the wind strikes most effectively. In combination with chest panels to take in cold air, they also fit an air outlet at the back to enable hot air to make its way out. The outlet also prevents your jacket from inflating and turning you into a kind of Michelin Man.

Summer Comfort System™

Unexpectedly sunny weather is a welcome gift for every rider, unless you’re already out on the road in your non-mesh jacket. As the temperature rises, you’re about to get cooked in your own gear. Opening up your main zip a bit might help, but it’s not going to be the relief you need.

That’s where Macna’s Summer Comfort System™ comes in. This central part of the jacket is fully detachable and reveals panels of mesh fabric around the main zip. SCS turns your motorcycle jacket into a semi-mesh jacket with the flick of a wrist.

Storm Hood

A deployable hood that’s worn underneath the helmet and lets you create a fully waterproof connection between your helmet and jacket. Prevents water from entering the jacket via the collar.

Quick Pockets™

Imagine stopping at a pavement café after hours of riding in the sun. The only thing standing between you and a comfortable break are your knee protectors – if only they were easy to take out. At the end of the day your gear needs a machine wash, which forces you to dismantle your jacket – in addition to your pants – in search of its protectors.

With Quick Pockets™, these scenes are a thing of the past. Quick Pockets™ are fitted with a zip that enables quick access to your protectors. Now you can enjoy your stops more comfortably and don’t have to worry about getting dirty.

Confold™

Patented construction of a jacket that enables it to be converted into a backpack so it doesn't have to be carried by hand when off-bike. The backpack provides enough space for a helmet, gloves, and more.

Macna's patented Confold™ construction enables you to turn your jacket into a fully functional backpack. It is fitted with a Helmet Loop™ to which you can attach your helmet, and it provides enough space for your gloves and other belongings in addition to your protective headgear.

Converting the jacket into a backpack is done in 3 simple steps:

• Lay the jacket with its back on the seat of your motorcycle and open the main zip. This will reveal another zip on the inside at the back that needs to be unzipped as well.
• Fold the jacket inside-out, through the opening we’ve just created by unzipping the inner zip. When done correctly, the shoulder straps have come out and are ready to use.
• Toss your belongings in the backpack, attach your helmet to the Helmet Loop™, zip up, and you’ll have a complete hands-free experience after parking your motorcycle.

Belt Loop™

Wearing jeans on a sports- or naked bike can get a bit chilly when your jacket decides to creep up on you. Being cold is one thing, getting hurt is another. In case of an incident, you might end up on your back without your jacket covering it.

Raise your comfort and safety with Macna’s Belt Loop™. It is made of strong webbing that is secured at the top of the back and runs all the way down your jacket, where you can connect it to your belt. The Belt Loop™ keeps your jacket in place, prevents a cold back, and raises your safety in case of an incident.

R.I.S.C.™ Protectors

A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.

R.I.S.C.™ Back Protector

You won’t find chest and back protectors in Macna’s garments – with exception of protective jackets such as the Korus and Whizzar – but they are separately available should you fancy extra protection. This unique protector is only available in Level 1 and consists of two separate pieces that automatically interlock after placing them in the designated compartments of your Macna jacket and zipping up.
