Macna Obtain Leather, gloves women

A short-cuffed glove with temper foam at the knuckles and EVA padding at the palm, suited for riders in hot riding conditions.

The Obtain Leather is made of goat leather at the palm, and elastane fabric at the back of the hand. It is fitted with a tricot liner and the absence of a membrane makes is suited for hot riding conditions.

R.I.S.C. 3D protection is fitted at the knuckles. It is made of temper foam, which provides impact absorption and distribution in case of an incident. Temper foam shapes itself to the contours of the body and quickly returns to its original form – hence the nickname ‘memory foam’.  

Soft and comfortable EVA padding protects the important and fragile pisiform bone.

A unique feature called Ergothumb™ is located at the thumb and index finger. This construction means the thumb and index finger are made of one and the same panel of fabric, which reduces seams and pressure points to increase comfort.

Heat-conductive fabric is fitted at the tips of the index fingers. Thanks to the Touch Tip, you’ll be able to operate touch screens without taking your gloves off.

Goat leather

Goat leather is a strong leather with a rough texture. It is flexible, soft and durable.

Ergothumb™

Ride long enough and eventually anything in an ‘unnatural’ position will start to hurt. In this case, Macna does'nt blame you, but your gear. Traditional gloves simply aren’t designed to grab the handlebar and maintain that position, sometimes for hours on end.

Ergothumb™ is an ergonomic construction that prevents wrinkling, pressure points, and pain, due to the thumb and index finger being made of one and the same panel of fabric. This creates a preformed glove that’s in its ‘natural’ position when you are riding.

EVA Protection

R.I.S.C. EVA protection consists of rubber foam underneath the outer shell. Protection with EVA padding is flexible and resilient as it recovers quickly from compression.

EVA foam excels in absorbing vibrations and impact forces. It is also characterized by its good thermal insulation as well as low water-absorption.

Other advantages are its softness, non-toxicity, stress-crack resistance and resistance to ultraviolet radiation which makes EVA suitable for many purposes.

Touch Tip

Touch screens dominate the modern day and age. Smartphones, tablets, and even more important for us motorcyclists: navigation systems. It is nice those screens work by touch, but that’s not really helpful when you’re wearing gloves.

That’s why Maca opts for heat-conductive fabric at the tips of the index fingers. These special Touch Tips enable the warmth of your finger to find its way through so that you can operate touch screens without having to take off your gloves.
