A long-cuffed, waterproof, electrically heated glove with a leather palm and EXO R.I.S.C.™ protection at the knuckles, developed for adventurers and riders in cold conditions.

The Rafino has an adventurous design and it’s fully waterproof thanks to its Raintex membrane. It’s fitted with a comfortable thermal lining and insulation to retain the warmth it provides.

Its palm is reinforced with an extra layer of goat leather to provide increased abrasion resistance, and the palm protector is made of carbon TPR which also provides impact absorption. The EXO R.I.S.C.™ knuckle protection has similar properties and features a hollowed-out, hexagonal structure for high breathability and flexibility.

Dual Power Technology™ lets you choose between a 7.4- or 12-Volt power supply. Power can be supplied by a battery in the cuff or jacket, or a direct connection to the battery of your motorcycle. There are 4 heating levels, each indicated in their own colour by the battery level indicator. The indicator at the back of the hand also tells you how much power you have left, and lets you change the level by pressing it.

Alternatively, you can operate these gloves – and other garments and accessories – in the MACNA® Heated app. The app enables you to manage all your heated garments with just one hand instead of unzipping and reaching for hidden buttons. Download it for free in the known stores, connect your gloves by Bluetooth®, and fully manage your heated ecosystem on your phone.

You can operate the app without taking your gloves off, thanks to the Touch Tip at the index finger. This same finger also features a Screen Cleaner™; a flexible extension at the ridge that lets you wipe rainwater off your visor.

This glove is constructed in an ergonomic way, featuring Macna's Ergothumb™ construction. This means the thumb and index finger are made of one and the same panel of fabric, which reduces seams and pressure points whilst also giving a wrinkle-free look.

An outlet for rainwater that accumulates in the mesh area between the membrane and outer shell is incorporated in the wrist strap. This Water Exhaust 2.0™ prevents the glove from getting wet and cold, which could hamper the heating capability of the glove.

Macna opted for the 30° Buckle™ at the wrist strap, which enables optimal freedom of movement at the wrist. Last but most certainly not least, Macna opted for the very own Night Eye™ fabric to raise your visibility when traffic is near you, without making you look like a traffic sign during the day.

Soft Flex DL

Stretch fabric with ripstop weave and directly laminated membrane. The fabric is flexible and waterproof.

Ripstop

Strong fabric with a fine squared pattern texture with reinforced yarns that makes the material stronger and very resistant to tearing. Different variants of ripstop are used in Macna’s riding gear, depending on the style and intended use of the garment.

Goat leather

Goat leather is a strong leather with a rough texture. It is flexible, soft and durable.

Bemberg™

An artificial textile fiber obtained from natural materials, including cellulose from a variety of botanical sources, and featuring a silky texture, used as a lining inside gloves in order to offer a pleasant and comfortable contact zone.

Raintex

Much of Macna’s gear is fitted with a waterproof Raintex membrane that prevents rainwater from penetrating whilst enabling vapor drops to make their way through. These membranes keep you free from both sweat and rainwater.

Raintex membranes are incorporated into Macna’s waterproof garments in different ways. Some feature a fixed membrane and others are fitted with a detachable one. There are also jackets with a waterproof liner, which means the waterproof membrane and thermal liner are combined to create a single layer.

30° Buckle™

Aside from a closure at the cuff, long-cuffed gloves often also have a strap at the wrist. This strap is placed horizontally in most cases, which does tighten the glove, but also limits your wrist’s freedom of movement.

This complaint is easily solved by Macna’s 30° Buckle™, which enables the wrist and hand to move more freely. Thanks to the difference in placement of the buckle, freedom of movement and overall comfort are raised.

Night Eye™

Dark grey by day, luminous at night! The fabric is coated with lots of tiny dishes that reflect light back to its source - in your case, the traffic around you.

Water Exhaust™

Membranes indeed block water, but that doesn’t mean water is unable to penetrate the outer layer. This can cause water to get trapped between outer layer and membrane, resulting in your glove becoming wet, cold, and soggy.

By fitting a garment with a Water Exhaust™, Macna prevents it from getting soaked, cold, and soggy. The Water Exhaust™ drains any excess rainwater that wants to accumulate between the waterproof Raintex membrane and outer layer, causing the garment to dry much faster.

Screen Cleaner™

There are multiple ways to combat humidity on the visor of your helmet, such as anti-condense sprays and anti-fog lenses. But what can you do against actual rain hitting your field of vision? Twist the throttle and try to make it fly off?

There’s a safer and user-friendly solution to this issue, located at the index fingers of Macna’s gloves. You’ll find a flexible Screen Cleaner™ that functions like a wiper blade at both hands to enable usage when riding as well as when standing still at, for example, a traffic light.

Touch Tip

Touch screens dominate the modern day and age. Smartphones, tablets, and even more important for us motorcyclists: navigation systems. It is nice those screens work by touch, but that’s not really helpful when you’re wearing gloves.

That’s why Maca opts for heat-conductive fabric at the tips of the index fingers. These special Touch Tips enable the warmth of your finger to find its way through so that you can operate touch screens without having to take off your gloves.

Ergothumb™

Ride long enough and eventually anything in an ‘unnatural’ position will start to hurt. In this case, Macna does'nt blame you, but your gear. Traditional gloves simply aren’t designed to grab the handlebar and maintain that position, sometimes for hours on end.

Ergothumb™ is an ergonomic construction that prevents wrinkling, pressure points, and pain, due to the thumb and index finger being made of one and the same panel of fabric. This creates a preformed glove that’s in its ‘natural’ position when you are riding.

RISC™ 3D Knuckles

Preformed protection at the knuckles, made of comfortable temper foam.

Power Controller

Control button, present in all of Macna’s heated gear, that indicates heat level and enables comfort management by selecting one of four intensities – varying from 40% to 100% and each indicated in their own color.

Dual Power Technology™

Imagine a drag race between a 700 cc and 1200 cc motorcycle; who do you think would win?

Aha! You already know more about heated gear than you think. Compared to a 7,4V power supply, a 12V power supply will heat up faster and reaches higher temperatures. Dual Power technology enables choice between a 7,4V or 12V power supply without making that choice permanent, as is the case with traditional heated gear.

Both voltages can be acquired in the form of chargeable batteries with different amperes. Want 12V power and an endless power supply? Hook you gear up to your bike through cables!

Bluetooth® connectivity

The MACNA Heated App lets you take full control over your e-heated gear. Connect your gear to your phone via Bluetooth® and you’ll never have to search for tucked away power buttons every again. Full control over your gear means you’re always able to adjust the heating levels to your liking. You can select one of four heating levels – 40, 60, 80 or 100% – each indicated in their own color. Different pieces of gear can be grouped in the app, which lets you change the settings or heating levels of all your gear simultaneously. Do you know the exact time of your commute? Or do you want to save at least half of your battery life for the road home? Set timers for each piece of gear to make them switch off automatically.
