Macna Tazar 2.0, textile jacket waterproof

A sporty 2-layer jacket with high adaptability, suitable for sports and naked bike riders in all conditions.

The Tazar 2.0 is fitted with a fixed Raintex Plus membrane to keep you dry and a detachable thermal liner to keep you warm. This RTX+ membrane is liner is slightly stretchy for a little more freedom of movement, and the liner easily zipped out when the temperature rises.

Another zip solution called Easy Cuff Lite™ is present at the wrists. This small zip (instead of loops and snaps) connects the inner layers of your jacket and prevents loose, floating layers and your hands from getting stuck when putting on the jacket.

Ventilation is present at the chest, arms, and back. Also located at the back is Macna's Belt Loop™, strong webbing that runs all the way from the collar (at the upper back) to the lower back where it can be fixed to the belt of your jeans to keep the jacket in place.

On the outside of the thermal liner runs a series of loops that form Macna's Electric Power Guide™, or EPG for short. This feature enables you to run the EPG cable (that powers your heated gloves) comfortably through your jacket without any bulk in certain areas.

Macna's RISC™ Level 1 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows. A RISC™ back protector is separately available and can easily be placed in the designated compartment. Be sure to check the size table before purchasing one.

Raintex Plus

Macna’s gear can be fitted with a waterproof Raintex Plus membrane that prevents rainwater from penetrating whilst enabling vapor drops to make their way through. These membranes keep you free from both sweat and rainwater, and are more flexible than a regular Raintex membrane to increase comfort.

Raintex Plus membranes are incorporated into Macna’s waterproof garments in different ways. Some feature a fixed membrane and others are fitted with a detachable one. There are also jackets with a waterproof liner, which means the waterproof membrane and thermal liner are combined to create a single layer.

Easy Cuff Lite™

Macna’s Easy Cuff™ construction makes getting stuck with your watch or foot a complaint of the past. This zip construction at the cuff keeps the layers fixed and ensures a nice and tidy sleeve. The zip is located at the outside of the cuff, making it easily accessible when needed.

Easy Cuff Lite™ is the further developed variant of the unique original construction. It solves the same problem and works just as well, though it looks much, much better than its precursor, as the zip is now located on the inside of the cuff.

Electric Power Guide™

EPG allows you to run power cables trough the inside of your jacket, offering you full movement and no bulk at the wrists. EPG prepared jackets feature loops to easily guide the power cable through the sleeves. With many battery options to choose from, there’s a solution for everybody.

Belt Loop™

Wearing jeans on a sports- or naked bike can get a bit chilly when your jacket decides to creep up on you. Being cold is one thing, getting hurt is another. In case of an incident, you might end up on your back without your jacket covering it.

Raise your comfort and safety with Macna’s Belt Loop™. It is made of strong webbing that is secured at the top of the back and runs all the way down your jacket, where you can connect it to your belt. The Belt Loop™ keeps your jacket in place, prevents a cold back, and raises your safety in case of an incident.

R.I.S.C.™ Protectors

A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.

R.I.S.C.™ Back Protector

You won’t find chest and back protectors in Macna’s garments – with exception of protective jackets such as the Korus and Whizzar – but they are separately available should you fancy extra protection. Make sure to check out the size table if you’re thinking about purchasing a Level 2 back protector.
