Macna Touros, textile jacket waterproof

The ultimate 3-layer jacket with an IN&OUT™ membrane, meant for adventurers and tourers that want to brave all riding conditions.

The Touros consists of detachable layers that are attached to the outer shell by Macna's in-house developed Easy Cuff™. This system makes use of zips instead of loops and snaps, which prevents loose, floating layers inside your jacket.

Its waterproof IN&OUT™ membrane is detachable and can also be worn over the outer shell to prevent it from getting soggy. The thermal liner is also detachable from the membrane.

Ventilation is present in abundance, such as ventilation zips at the upper arms as well as the back. Most importantly, the chest features big ventilation panels that can be revealed by pulling a cord at the outer corner of the chest. The cords of the Quick Vent™ system are fixed by push buttons to keep the panels open.

Other differentiators are the Coat Hanger™ that’s developed to carry the weight of a motorcycle jacket, the Quick Access Puller™ that provides easy access to the inner chest pocket, and Quixnaps™ that can be used with nothing more than two fingers.

Macna's RISC™ level 1 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows. RISC™ back and chest protectors are separately available and can be placed in the designated compartment with ease. Be sure to check the size table before purchasing a back protector.

If all of this isn’t enough, this jacket is also prepared for additional visibility; at the upper back you’ll find a pocket for Macna's Vision 2C led light.

Ripstop (coated)

Coated fabric with ripstop weave and reinforced yarns, which makes the fabric stronger and more resistant to tearing. The fabric has a matt coating which is waterproof.

Fybrex

Polyester 500D fabric with high density that is durable, strong and abrasion-resistant.

Softwill

Strong woven fabric with fine twill structure and light stretchability which is comfortable to wear.

IN&OUT™

On the inside, this jacket is equipped with our IN&OUT jacket. This waterproof membrane can be taken out and worn over the outer shell as a rain coat to prevent the jacket from getting dirty, wet and soggy.

Quick Vent™

A large ventilation panel at the back of the jacket that’s quickly opened by pulling a pair of cords at the front. It can be compared to Venetian blinds you sometimes find in houses.

Quixnap™

Snaps, studs, buttons; they’re present in motorcycle garments in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colours. Even though there are countless differences between all of them, there’s one thing they have in common: you need two hands to close them.

Quixnap™ is the latest and most user-friendly snap on the market. It is easy to use for anybody with a minimum of two fingers, which may even be located on the same hand. That’s all there is to it!

Back Pocket

Detachable layers are great for the versatility of a motorcycle jacket. Detach or add a layer when the temperature shifts and you’re ready to continue your journey with as much comfort as before. But where do you store these layers?

That’s where the Back Pocket comes in. This large zip pocket at the lower back is large enough to store detached layers. Other accessories you can’t find a place for can also be stored, as the pocket is fully waterproof.

Coat Hanger™

A motorcycle jacket often weighs (a lot) more than a regular jacket. You might notice it when wearing one, and maybe even more when taking it off and carrying it by the ‘coat hanger’ at the neck – which is often just a textile loop that eventually snaps due to the weight of your motorcycle jacket.

Macna’s Coat Hanger™ is specifically designed to carry the weight of your motorcycle jacket. This strong and durable handle is found at the neck, though they chose to place it on the outside to enable the jacket to dry and air better when stored on, for example, a coat rack.

Card Pocket

You finally have the weekend off and time to ride. Your motorcycle gear is ready to be jumped into, and shortly after you’re cruising the roads in total freedom. Unfortunately, your happiness only last for a short while as the first toll booth already appears in sight.

To minimize your time lost at mandatory stops such as toll booths, Macna fitted a Card Pocket at the outside of the left lower arm. You can use this pocket to store an access card or other means of identification or payment.

Quick Access Puller™

The inner pocket of your motorcycle jacket usually holds important objects, such as your wallet or mobile phone. They’re secured safely by the most isolated pocket in your jacket, though they’re also not quickly accessible.

Enter Macna’s Quick Access Puller™: an extended cord that’s attached to the bottom and the runner of the zip. This enables you to open the inner pocket swiftly and gain access to its contents, without having to fumble for the runner when you’re wearing gloves.

Easy Cuff™

Loops and snaps that are supposed to neatly connect the separate layers of a jacket or pants. We all know how well that works; it doesn’t. Chances of your watch or foot getting stuck are ten times higher than of you actually putting on the garment without issues.

Make this issue a complaint of the past with Macna’s Easy Cuff™, a zip construction at the cuff that keeps the layers fixed and ensures a nice and tidy sleeve. The zip is located at the outside of the cuff, making it easily accessible when needed.

Vision 2C LED light prepared

Visibility boost in the form of a secondary tail light, fixed high upon your back.

R.I.S.C.™ Protectors

A garment can be fitted with Level 1 or Level 2 protectors, depending on which segment you’re going for. Level 2 protectors are thicker and heavier than Level 1, but in turn they provide better protection. Both levels of RISC protectors are interchangeable and separately available, so you can easily scale down or up if you’d like to.

R.I.S.C.™ Back Protector

You won’t find chest and back protectors in Macna’s garments – with exception of protective jackets such as the Korus and Whizzar – but they are separately available should you fancy extra protection. Make sure to check out the size table if you’re thinking about purchasing a Level 2 back protector.

R.I.S.C.™ Chest Protector

This unique protector is only available in Level 1 and consists of two separate pieces that automatically interlock after placing them in the designated compartments of your Macna jacket and zipping up.
